What to Expect at Camp Coffin Creek
Camp Coffin Creek is an intense, fully immersive horror survival experience set across 400 acres of rural woodland in Chino, California. Read everything below before you arrive. This is not a standard haunted house event and the more prepared you are, the better your night will be.
Before You Arrive
Two liability waivers are required for every camper before entering the property. Have your group ready to sign at registration. No waiver, no entry.
Your Camp Coffin Creek T-shirt is mandatory. Every camper receives a complimentary T-shirt at check in. You are required to wear it for the duration of the event.
What You're Getting Into
Camp Coffin Creek contains extreme simulated violence, crude adult language, physically demanding challenges, uneven terrain, fog, strobe lighting, and loud noises. This event is not for everyone and that is intentional.
- You will be hunted. Five slashers roam the grounds all night alongside roaming monsters. Nowhere at Camp Coffin Creek is safe. Not even your tent.
- You can be "killed". If a slasher takes you out, you are eliminated from the Last Surviving Camper competition but you can still participate in every attraction, game, and activity for the rest of the night.
- The last camper standing wins the Camp Coffin Creek Cup awarded at the 6AM ceremony plus a 2026 Nightmare Rising season pass for the October haunt.
- Two teams compete for the Camp Coffin Creek Cup throughout the night across all camp games and activities.
- Participation is always your choice. You may opt out of any attraction or activity at any time. No questions asked.
The Environment
You are spending the night in a rural outdoor setting. Come prepared for real outdoor conditions.
- Dark woodland terrain. Bring a flashlight or use your phone light.
- Uneven ground throughout. Watch your footing.
- Significant walking and occasional short running throughout the night.
- Dust, dirt, and potentially mud. Dress accordingly. No shower facilities are available on site.
- Fog machines, strobe lights, and high volume sound effects throughout the property.
- Cell service is limited due to the rural location near the river. No Wi-Fi is available on site.
- No potable water on site. Bottled water is available if needed. Additional beverages can be purchased at the food vendor on site until 2AM.
- Bug spray is strongly recommended. The property sits near the river and mosquitoes are active. This is not optional. Bring it.
- First aid kits are available on site for minor scrapes, cuts, and bruises.
RIP Package Campers
RIP Package guests are assigned private individual buildings in the exclusive RIP camping area. Electricity is available in your building. Interior lighting is not provided. Bring a flashlight or lantern. Lanterns are strongly encouraged.

Come prepared. There are no convenience stores on site and no shower facilities.
