NIGHTMARE RISING — TERMS OF ENTRY & LIABILITY WAIVER
WARNING: READ BEFORE PURCHASING OR ENTERING
By purchasing a ticket, accepting admission, or entering this property, you agree to the following Terms of Entry, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability. These terms apply to all guests, whether tickets are purchased online or at the box office. If you do not agree, do not purchase or enter.
⚠️ ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Participation in this haunted attraction experience (the “Experience”) is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND INVOLVES SIGNIFICANT RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR DEATH.
You may be exposed to or encounter: fog, strobe lights, lasers, confined spaces, water, insects, arachnids, touching, foul language, disturbing imagery, loud noises, offensive odors, sudden scares, projectiles, moving floors, visual depictions of abuse, and environments that may induce claustrophobia, dizziness, or emotional distress.
Guests may also be asked or may choose to crawl, jump, climb, crouch, or navigate physical obstacles. Participants may be touched, startled, yelled at, or physically directed during the Experience. The Experience includes equipment, tools, and props that may malfunction or pose unknown hazards.
You are voluntarily assuming all risks, known and unknown, including those that may arise from the negligence of Nightmare Rising, SC Village Paintball Park, their owners, affiliates, sponsors, employees, contractors, volunteers, and agents (collectively, the “Releasees”).
🧠 VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
By entering, you confirm that:
You are participating voluntarily and not under coercion or inducement.
You are in good physical and emotional health and capable of participating safely.
You will immediately stop participation if you feel unsafe, unwell, or distressed.
You have been informed that the safe word “MERCY” may be used at any time to request removal from the experience. You acknowledge that personal safety cannot be guaranteed.
⚕️ HEALTH & MEDICAL NOTICE
If you have medical conditions (including heart problems, seizures, respiratory issues, pregnancy, PTSD, anxiety disorders, or similar sensitivities), you should not participate. Guests are responsible for consulting with their personal physicians prior to participation.
⚖️ RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By entering, you release and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries, or causes of action of any kind — including negligence — that may arise out of or relate to participation in the Experience or presence on the premises. This includes injury, illness, emotional distress, or property damage, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable.
You further consent to photography, audio, and video recording for security and promotional use without compensation.
⚠️ OTHER TERMS
No refunds or exchanges. Tickets are valid for any open night during the 2025 season.
Management reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any guest without refund for unsafe,
disruptive, or intoxicated behavior.
You agree to abide by all posted rules and staff instructions.
By purchasing or entering, you are agreeing to these legally binding Terms of Entry.
BY ENTERING THIS PROPERTY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS AND VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATION.
